I loved it but I think rating were low and yes, Tru never found out about her father. I wished it had continued instead of being harassed with bad shows as the “reality” ones…
Tru calling was indeed cancelled by FOX. It last for a one full season, and 6 episodes of a second season.
It didn’t do as well in the ratings as FOX wanted, but they aired some of the episodes of season 2 anyways. They only ordered 6 episodes of season 2 though, so it is short.
Nothing got resolved, if anything, it got made messier. In the last episode, Harry find out that his father and Jack are working together, but the day rewinds before he can tell Tru. And with the rewind, Jack warns Tru’s father about Harry finding out the day before, so they are able to avoid him finding out on the day it counts.
The series ends with everyone at a Christmas party at Tru’s. Including her new friends, Davis, and Harry. Along with the other side, Carrie, Jack, Tru’s dad.
The good news: Season 1 and the 6 episodes of season 2 are on DVD.
I loved that show. I also wondered what happened to it. Unfortunately, I read on IMDb that it was cancelled in the second season. I think that it was because the new guy (the guy that was on that show Beverly Hills 90210) made the show really complicated. I wish that they never put that guy on the show, because it was a good show.
maybe we can get SciFi to pick it up…
I don’t know what happened to that show. I hadn’t watched it very much, but I really liked it.
I think it was taken off the air, i used to watch it but now its never on…and i dont know if she found out about her dad…wait what was she going to find out?
