At first I thought that this was gonna be a really cool scary movie but it really took a wrong turn. First the actress called Danielle was very very a bad actress.I just wanted to go in to the movie to kill her.Eliza Dushku didn t show her good acting in this movie.Secondly the killers weren t scary but funny. They looked like the hobbits from Lord of The Rings.I you wanna see a movie like this, just rent Jeepers Creepers insted.

My friends and I viewed this movie on a dark night, partly because we had nothing else to do, and partly because we were in need of a good laugh..which it delivered, though not on purpose.
This utterly predictable and extremely low budget film, pumped with unnecessary and totally fake gore and horrible acting (no surprises there when you’re cast is Buffy the Vampire Slayer material…) I especially loved the part in the beginning when we’re introduced to a woman rockclimbing. Perplexingly the grass growing on the cliff next to her is horizontal, not drooping at all on the steep cliff. Apparently there’s no gravity in West Virginia. This movie is an utter waste of time, unless you’re the cynical type who likes to laugh and talk about how Hollywood has gone so downhill making movies like this which attract the attention of mindless goons, not unlike the West Virginians in this film.
Seriously, its horribly depressing how many reviews saying that this is a good movie exist. I mean, you’d have to be a complete idiot to think so! It has absolutely no redeeming qualites. I would pay NOT to own it.

One of the worst movies I’ve seen. It isn’t the least scary, the plot sucks, & it’s not in any way creative. All these comparisons to Texas Chainsaw are utterly baffling to me. I don’t mind a cheesy horror pic, but this was a total waste of time.

…Wrong Turn, it is a good horror movie that will keep you interested. I liked the opening credits designed by 1741. The things that dissapointed me was that the movie did not have huge hollywood stars. The only big stars that I knew were Eliza Dushku (True Lies, TV’s Buffy (canceled), Bring It On, The New Guy, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, Soul Survivors, City By The Sea, TV’s Angel), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Snow Day, On The Line) Jeremy Sisto (Clueless), and Kevin Zegers (Air Bud 1-3, MVP, TV’s Titans (canceled). The main reason I did not like this movie is because Kevin Zegers was on for such a short time… I guess that is why in the credit’s his name is last and saying “and”. That sounds like what happened to me, the last time I was an “and” I had little screen-time compared to almost everyone else. I think the only good thing about being an “and” is that you are very well known or often seen in something. Despite Kevin’s lack of screen-time I was still interested in this movie. The main guy in this movie is Desmond Harrington (TV’s L.A. Dragnet (canceled). The inbred bad guys make great villians. I think that most people will know who lives and who dies, but some death scenes are still very shocking. See this movie for good acting and great scenes of Canada (Virginia). The storyline and plot is like Rob Schmidt says in the DVD commentary it is meant to be a old style horror movie. A mix of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Ravenous. I suggest watch the movie and listen to the commentary, it has Rob Schmidt (Director), Eliza Dushku (Jessie), and Desmond Harrington (Chris).

I’m a solid Eliza Dushku fan, and I’m grateful she’s such an attractive and skilled actress, because movies this bad have destroyed bigger careers and blackened better names than hers. The plot is as predictable as a sunrise, the gore is ugly and most of it unnecessary to the plot, and the acting, with the exception of Ms. Dushku, could be done by a high school drama club without damaging the story’s believability one bit.
I regret losing the time I spent watching this piece of trash.
